Kitchen Remodel in Copiague, NY: Before and After

This Copiague kitchen had light maple cabinets, white appliances, a dark tile floor and a ceiling fan. It now has white flat-panel uppers, dark wood-grain lowers, gray-veined stone-look counters with a matching full-height backsplash, a light porcelain floor and recessed lighting. Tall dark cabinets now frame the refrigerator. Completed September 2026.

What We Changed

The maple raised-panel cabinets were replaced with flat-panel doors in two finishes: white uppers with crown molding, and a dark wood-grain for the lowers and the tall cabinets around the refrigerator. The pantry wall gives the room floor-to-ceiling storage it did not have before.

The counters and backsplash are a gray-veined stone look, and the backsplash runs full height from counter to cabinet. The dark tile floor was replaced with a light large-format porcelain, which does most of the work in making the room feel bigger.

The ceiling fan came down and recessed lights went in across the room. The kitchen now has a stainless range, an over-range microwave and a white French-door refrigerator.
