Custom CNC Cabinetry Built in Bellmore Precision to the Millimeter

Most cabinet companies sell you a box off a truck. We build yours on a Thermwood CNC router in our own Bellmore facility, then hand-finish every piece before it arrives at your home. The difference shows up every time you open a drawer, close a door, or run your hand along the edge — no gaps, no fillers, nothing that doesn’t fit.

OZ General Contracting has manufactured custom cabinetry in-house for over 49 years. Our shop at 2597 Merrick Rd is where your kitchen, bathroom, or built-in gets digitally planned, precision-cut, assembled, sanded, and painted by the same team that handles your installation. That’s a different process than anything a showroom catalog can offer.

What Makes OZ Different

How We Build Your Cabinets From Computer File to Your Kitchen

The process starts with your measurements. Every cabinet we build is dimensioned to the exact millimeter of your space walls, ceiling heights, windows, plumbing, all of it. Those dimensions get loaded into the Thermwood CNC router, which cuts every component with computer-guided accuracy. No human error in the cutting phase. No approximated sizing.

After the CNC cut, our team takes over by hand. Pieces are sanded smooth, edges are shaped, faces are primed and painted or stained to the finish you chose. The result is a cabinet that fits the way your space was actually built not the way a manufacturer assumed it might be.

This is what we mean by in-house production: your cabinets are built, finished, and delivered from one location, by one company, accountable to one warranty.

What We Build

Kitchen Cabinetry Base cabinets, wall cabinets, tall pantry units, kitchen islands, and peninsula configurations. We work with your kitchen layout open concept, galley, L-shape, or U-shape and build what fits, not what fits on a price sheet.

Bathroom Vanities Single and double vanity bases, floating vanity designs, linen towers, and medicine cabinet surrounds. Built to handle the moisture environment a bathroom demands.

Built-Ins and Custom Millwork Home office built-ins, library shelving, mudroom cubbies and bench storage, entertainment centers, and laundry room cabinetry. If it gets built into a wall, we can build it.

What you can choose:

Why In-House Manufacturing Matters on Long Island

Most contractors on Long Island buy cabinets from a dealer stock sizes from a regional warehouse, delivered and installed. When something doesn’t fit, you wait for a reorder. When you want a specific size, you pay a custom upcharge and wait weeks.

Because we cut everything in our own facility in Bellmore, we don’t have those delays. If your kitchen has an odd corner, an angled wall, or a window in an inconvenient place, we just build the cabinet to match it. No filler strips. No cabinet doors that swing into each other because the standard sizing wasn’t adjusted.

It also means one point of contact for the entire project. The people who build your cabinets are the people who install them. If something needs adjusting on-site, it gets fixed we don’t have to send anything back to a manufacturer.
